Looking to the 12 Points of the Scout Law as Inspiration

Here we are halfway through 2021 and my year as president of the Emergency Nurses Association. I got inspiration for this President's Message topic was helping son complete his Eagle Scout project. This message is written from lens youth, experience in scouting some key components that factored into who am today. would like to acknowledge Scouts organization does have a past history inequities want movement be more inclusive. Like many organizations, communities, individuals, all growing better around diversity inclusion. The lessons learned child still relevant today hopefully will resonate with you well. focus on 12 points Law. Law were recited weekly at meetings youth now an adult leader. They good reminder can serve compass life. simple examined closely. recited, “A Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean Reverent.”•Trustworthy: one resonates us nurses because our profession has been running 19 years most trusted profession.1Saad L. Take inventory day week. being thoughtful wasting time?
